We came across Dean from Amanda's Action Kids at a 5 year olds party in October 09 and I knew immediately he would be perfect for my daughter Jaya's 6th birthday. There was only a brief conversation before the party about what I wanted but that seemed to be enough as all my requirements were met without fuss. Dean arrived promptly, set up quickly and was ready for a motley crew of 35 kids aged between 2 and 6.

He entertained non stop for one hour and really connected with the children, completely on their wavelength. The kids loved it and only stopped for a drink. My only request was to make my daughter feel special and this request was met. I have no complaints about Dean and have already recommended him to countless parents and friends.

Amy was fantastic. Really fantastic. All the mothers were asking where I found her! Tommy absolutely loved the party and she was so good with all the children, the almost twos, the just turned two, the two and 1/2 and the 3 year old...I definitely want her again and am expecting no 2 in August so please don't let her leave Amanda's Action Kids.

Seriously though my husband and I were really impressed with how professional she and the set up was...if you have any nervous/unsure mums please use me as a reference! I was delighted with the whole thing - thank you. And thank you for making it happen at such short notice.

Thank you very much for arranging for Theresa to entertain our party and for asking for this feedback. I can only provide a very positive feedback based on our experience. Theresa was great all the way through. She called us early on in the week to discuss our daughter's preferences and plan the party. She was very careful to make sure she knew all the logistical details (e.g. post code, parking, etc.). She arrived on time and ready on the day and, most importantly, made the party a great success!.

We had quite a few kids (over 30!) and it was very impressive to see how Theresa could manage to maintain them all engaged and jolly entertained for the whole party. She provided a good variety of games and activities that captivated all children. She was really helpful to get them organised at tea and cake time. It was really thoughtful to do karaoke for the fast eaters while the others were still finishing their tea, which is typically a bit of a messy time, in my experience. The music for the cake created a wonderful atmosphere. She was really confident, energetic and caring. The kids had a blast and we, parents, enjoyed seeing them having so much fun.

Having had a disastrous experience with another renowned entertainer at my last party, I was a bit nervous about the entertainment this time, and particularly pleased with the result. Certainly I will count on Amanda Action Kids for our next party and I will recommend you to our friends. A lot of the parents at the party agreed that Theresa did a fantastic job!

Sorry I meant to write sooner to tell you what a wonderful time we had at Joe's birthday last Sunday. We were so glad we booked Amanda's and would like you to pass on our sincere thanks to Lise, she was brilliant. Everyone was singing her praises. She really understood the children and got even the most reluctant children joining in. She wasn't pushy and let them come to her. I had some concerns that my little boy, who can be quite shy, would be overawed but Lise was brilliant, he had a ball! He was like her shadow, he knew all the moves, everyone was calling him the poster boy for Amanda's Action Kids!

I have always been a fan of your classes but now I can't sing your praises enough. I really appreciate your help Sarah too, as I know I was not only late booking but I chose a really awful time to leave it so late. Thanks for letting me interrupt your Christmas and New Year!

Lise was not only brilliant with the kids she really was a great help to me too. She reassured me when I needed it and was really good at getting on with it, without any help from me - I felt awful that I didn't help her in and out with all her heavy bags but I really appreciated her 'can do' attitude as I was feeling pretty overawed myself at that stage (I'm considering a staggered start time next time...everyone arrives at once!)

It took me a long time and a lot of heartache to get my kids and I often dreamed of all the good times I would share with them, birthdays, Christmases etc and I can only say my son's party was everything I ever imagined it would be and more. Amanda's Action Kids and particularly Lise were a very large part in that. Thank you so very much.

I would like to say a huge thank you to Amanda for doing a brilliant job for the second year running, and I do not think we would even consider having a party for Rory now without her or a member of her amazing team.

She was wonderfully reassuring and positive prior to the party, particularly as we were very limited in space and she really made the most of what I would consider quite difficult conditions, in a small room crammed full of twenty children. There were no tears, no tantrums and the children all adored her, she had a genuine and natural rapour with them. We had a very mixed range of children from 14 months to 6 and 7 year olds and yet none felt left out and all were equally well entertained.

I can highly recommend Amanda or one of her team (we had another member last year and she was also brilliant) for your child's party, it is money well spent and really does take the stress out of the event.

Sasha's party facilitated by Amanda was nothing less than fabulous. Firstly, making arrangements with Amanda was very easy as she sounded very experienced in all kinds of possible scenarios, accommodating and incredibly friendly - exactly the kind of person you'd want to run your kid's birthday party! I was instantly relaxed and looking forward to the day of the party.

On the day, Amanda arrived about 30 min before the agreed time, set up the 'parachute', put the music on and put out some toys so that the kids could start enjoying themselves whilst we waited for everyone to arrive. It was one less thing for me to worry about !

When the actual entertainment started, a great time was had by all, kids and parents alike. Amanda's creativity and energy resulted in an hour which was full to the brim with fun, joy and lots of smiles and laughter!

A party by Amanda exceeded all of my expectations and I am sure to invite her to facilitate Sasha's third birthday! Amanda's service and skills are unique and it comes through very clearly that she enjoys what she does - it was a true pleasure meeting Amanda and experiencing her 'magic'.

The only feedback I can give is that the party was absolutely wonderful,
Antonia is a star and everything she did was perfect.  She kept the
children (all 28 of them!) fully entertained at all times, they didn't
want to go home which is always a sure sign they enjoyed themselves. 
There were so many compliments from the parents and many took the
number of "Amandas action kids".  Thank you so much for making my
children's party extra special it would never have been the same
without Antonia.

Antonia entertained at my daughter Naomi's 3rd birthday party. Naomi can be very shy and often finds parties overwhelming. We've had tears at many parties we've attended, but Naomi had a great time at her own party thanks to Antonia. Naomi was totally relaxed and really enjoyed the whole party. Antonia got all the parents involved too so it really made it fun for the children. We had a wide age range to cover 6 months - 5 years, yet she still managed to capture every child's attention. All of the mums (and dads!) were impressed. Even grandma was marching around shaking her pom-poms. The party was a great success. Thank you so much for a most enjoyable day.

Lynnsey was fantastic! She turned up early, was friendly and engaging with the little ones who were hanging around while she set up and the party itself was a roaring success. She pitched it exactly right for the age group and as we are a very musical family we were delighted that it was all music and movement based, keeping the kids enthralled and engaged. The parachute was very cleverly used and great fun for kids and adults alike. All in all we had a very happy birthday boy - many thanks Lynnsey!

We were absolutely delighted with Leanne - she was a really sweet person and had the (three year old) children totally engaged and participating, and nicely tired out for their tea! Even the babies enjoyed it too. All my friends thought she was great too and asked where she was from and a couple took her card.

The party went really well. Leanne was full of energy and kept the kids interested. She is a great entertainer even the older boys participated. There were also some parents who were very interested in Amanda's action kids and Leanne gave out some cards. I am really pleased with the party and Shannon loved it. She was so excited and kept smiling all the way through even at the end when she was absolutely exhausted. It will take her a few days to recover but it was worth it. Thanks for providing us with another memorable party.

It was absolutely brilliant, brilliant, brilliant! I wish I saw Amanda and Robert in action before, I wouldn't have stressed out so much in preparation. It was super, all the kids were engaged all the time, even the boy who never used to participate at birthday parties and always stayed with his mummy. I didn't have to do a thing, just watch the kids have enormous fun.

It worked perfectly well for boys (who were the majority) and girls which is not the case with many traditional entertainers. I am glad I booked Robert as well, it worked really well. And the treasure hunt was fantastic too, the kids enjoyed it enormously, it's just amazing how many tricks Amanda has up her sleeve. So a big, big thank you to you, Amanda and Robert for such a brilliant birthday party for Valeria!

The party went very well and Lisa was great. The children were immediately drawn to her and the props were well received by all. Lisa kept them going for the full length of the party and many of the mothers asked me about Lisa and where I found her at the end - which was a great testament to how well the party went.

Lynnsey was fantastic. She kept the children enthralled throughout the entire party and even dealt with the 'rebels' in a manner that kept them on-side. I have recommended her to friends, although sadly as we all have 6yr olds we are at the upper end of your age range. Ever thought of expanding into older groups? Your complete service has been great, the website, your prompt contact and the party itself. It was my first headache-free Birthday Party.

Amanda - just wanted to say thanks to you for speaking to us other mumpreneurs last Monday after the London Mums Spring Party. It was very encouraging and motivating to hear other mums discuss their businesses and yours by far was the most fun! I personally enjoyed our little chat while we were putting your things in your van.

Thanks also for the CD & toy you gave me for my son Alejandro. He LOVES the CD and we have been dancing around the house to it every single day. The fab beats and songs' vocal arrangements really awaken his senses, which is particualarly important for him due to his visual impairment. My hubby has joined in on the fun too and the 2 of us have probaly shed a few pounds dancing away.

You are so energetic and fun - plus your props are great for tactile and visual stimulation - Alejandro laughed a lot during your session at the party. Your personality truly fits what you do - a perfect match. Don't stop doing what you're doing. Take care and have a great rest of the week

Thanks very much for arranging such a wonderful entertainment with such a
very short notice. Although our flat space is limited, Jo was a fantastic party host and all kids including Mai could have lots of activities and musics and they're all having lots of funs! After Jo's entartainment, kids enjoyed cakes, foods and presents. And we think the party went very well in total!

We're really glad we could come across with you on internet. We couldn't
have such a wonderful party without you. Some of their parents have already
been interested in where Jo comes from, so I passed Amanda Action Kids to
them.

We might need to go back to Japan in the not too distant future and Mai
might not remember anything from English life. But with those party photos,
we can show her how she is enjoying friendship here in London in future. If
by any chance we can have another party in London, we will definitely come
back to you.

I just wanted to thank you for making my daughter, Georgina's 3rd
birthday party so special. The feedback I have received from the other parents has been amazing. Several have said that it is the best birthday party they have ever attended, and all remarked on how brilliant Amanda was in getting every single child to join in.

Georgina herself had a wonderful day, and her favourite thing is to watch
the DVD of her party and re-live all the excitement. I am sure you will get

Just wanted to say a big "THANK YOU" to Jodi for entertaining all the children at Amy's 4th Birthday party on Saturday. I was a bit worried as Amy kept saying she wanted a bouncy castle but as soon as Jodi arrived Amy forgot all about that and loved every minute of it. Her little brother Thomas, who is only 2, had a ball too and loved joining in with all the activities and games.

I was amazed how easy Jodi made it look to keep them busy for the whole 2
hours - I'm just glad it wasn't me that had to do it. I would recommend this type of party to everyone - it was so stress free and brilliant seeing all the children having such a great time. Everyone that came to the party said what fun the kids had.

Please could you pass our thanks on to Amanda for an amazing party yesterday for our 4-year old twins Ella & Jack.

All the children had a fantastic time - the pace and the energy of Amanda kept them enthralled and the quick movement from one activity to the next was spot on for keeping 24 children busy and stimulated. However it wasn't only the children who enjoyed it; all the adults commented that they had a great time too!

Thanks again - I have two very happy little 4 year olds who were saying "I love Amanda" when she was leaving.

I just wanted to say a big thank you to "Amanda's Action Kids" for such a brilliant party yesterday (Saturday 14th). We hired Leanne for our son Joshua's 4th birthday party, and all the children had such a fantastic time! Leanne was great, and kept them all well entertained for the whole 2 hours. I was a bit worried beforehand, because Joshua is the type of child who can get quite overwhelmed when he's in groups, but he really enjoyed himself yesterday and joined in well!

I knew it would be a good party, as I've seen you twice before when you entertained at an old mother & toddler group I used to go to, and you'll probably be hearing from us again next year for Joshua's 5th birthday party!

Not only did your performance bring a smile to the faces of the children you entertained on the day, but the wonderful music was a fantastic welcome and start to those attending the event.

We raised a total of £7,500 for school equipment, and we would not have been able to achieve it without you and our other sponsors.

On a personal level - we have not stopped listening to your Big Songs For Little Ones CD  - it’s fantastic and totally addictive.  Occasionally the kids are allowed to listen too!  I know our raffle winners were equally impressed and we wish you all the success you deserve.

I started taking my baby to Amanda's music classes when he was just 2 months old and could not believe how much my baby boy enjoyed it. She combines music, textures, colours, exercises, language and social skills, thus covering all aspects of child development in a fun session that both the babies and parents enjoy. She caters for their short attention spans by changing activity every two minutes and the babies and children love the bright, fun and educational toys that she uses. Babies it seems are not too young to enjoy a social activity packed session which benefits them and their parents."

Amanda has been coming to BBC Woodlands Nursery for nearly four years to hold music and movement sessions for our 3-5 years olds. The sessions are extremely age appropriate, fun and varied. Amanda has a vast range of equipment and a huge repertoire of songs and activities for the children to explore and enjoy. The children love these sessions and the parents and nursery staff are extremely reassured that Amanda is a fully qualified instructor.

In fact, the staff and parents are so impressed by the skills that Amanda has shown us to promote physical development, that a music and movement session has now been introduced for the younger children aged 2-3 years.

Physical development is a very important part of our curriculum as it is about improving the skills of coordination, control, manipulation and movement. It helps the children gain confidence in what they can do and enables them to feel the positive benefits of being healthy and active. Amanda comes to Woodlands Nursery each week and through her knowledge and expertise encourages the children to express their feelings thus allowing them to grow in confidence and self esteem.

Amanda’s Action Kids is a great way to enjoy music and movement making exercise fun. Children of all ages can join in together singing, dancing and generally having a good time. It is also a good way to get adults active too! From babies to toddlers everyone at Amanda’s Action Kids was singing, dancing, moving, shaking and enjoying themselves. Also, it is a good way for the children to develop social skills together with speech and language and motor skills. It is a very noisy time with all the musical instruments, singing and excitement that goes on the Amanda’s Action Kids.

Amanda has built a special rapport with the children, before she arrives they are extremely excited a the prospect of her visit and little eyes light up when they see her, the nursery then erupts in crescendo of joy as the children recognize her. It is a wonderful introduction to music, dance and drama.
