Well what can Amanda say, apart from Fan-dabby-dosey! This past Saturday at Clapham Grand, the Family Extravaganza was a fantastic success with over 200 people there having the best of times. Amanda was so thrilled with the turn-out and all the positive feedback that she received from participating kids and parents … that she decided immediately … “let’s have some more of this!”

So get this date into your diary … as there’s going to be another Family Extravaganza at Clapham Grand on Saturday 5th June 2010.

Amanda still has to work out the details as to what’s exactly going to be the ‘running order’ on the day (and prices obviously) but as soon as we know … we’ll be posting it here. So keep an eye open here, or if you’ve signed-up to Amanda’s Newsletter service then you’ll be getting updates via that route.

If you were there and had great fun last Saturday, then tell all your friends to look out for this terrific ‘family’ initiative from Amanda – it looks like it may be here to stay!

And if you want to make a completely fantabulous day-out of it – why not pop along to the nearby Bicester Village Outlet Shopping with its 100+ Luxury Outlet Boutiques.  Their complementary opening hours of:
    MON, TUES, WEDS & SUN 10AM – 6PM
    THURS, FRI & SAT 10AM – 7PM
means that you can indeed ‘kill-two-birds-with-one-stone’ and make it a great day out for all the family. Even if you haven’t got a birthday: just drop the kids off at Amanda’s Play Centre and go shopping anyway at nearby Bicester Village Outlet Shopping … the kids’ll be safe and have fun  … whilst you shop ’til you drop and pick them up later when you’re done.

If you’ve never been to Bicester nor even heard of the Bicester Village, according to Global Refund Tax Free shopping, Bicester Village is the ’Numero Uno’ retail destination outside London for non-EU visitors. After 14 years of trading – approx 44% of Bicester Village brands are represented in the most exclusive of London’s full-price shopping streets, which include Sloane Street and Bond Street. Set near the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) at the heart of rural Oxfordshire - Bicester Village enjoys a prime central location in England with exceptional transport links.  Also within striking distance are renowned tourist destinations, among them Blenheim Palace, the National Trust 19th Century Renaissance-style château Waddesdon Manor and Oxford with its fabled ‘dreaming spires’ …. and as if that wasn’t enough ‘attractions’ to tempt you to visit Bicester … they can now boast Amanda’s Play Centre as well  … “somebody stop me”…!

Coming to the end of 2009 gives Amanda ample cause  to reflect on what a fantastic year it’s been.  As well as running the hundreds of classes and parties that’s basically par for the course for her, she’s also found time to go to China with her classes, signed-up some brand-new Amanda’s Action Club franchisees, produced a new music CD and video and most proudly … opened her very own Amanda’s Play Centre in Bicester, Oxon. Wow – that was a year that was!

Anyways after all that – it’s time for Amanda to take a well-earned rest  (well sort of)! All her classes have now closed for 2009 and if you check out the Classes page of this website you’ll see the January 2010 dates when they start back up again in their various locations.

For those of you who live a bit outside Amanda’s hitherto traditional London catchment area, in the New Year, Amanda’s Action Club is being exported south, to the Southampton area – starting in January 2010 with Jolene leading the way initially on Mondays and Fridays.

Also a little way out from London is the fantastic new Amanda’s Play Centre  just off the M40 in Bicester, Oxfordshire. Over the course of the Holiday season, if the weather allows, you might want to pile the kids into the car and have a terrific day out – parking is free and it’s plentiful. If you check out the website you’ll see easy to follow directions to get you to Bicester and if you follow the link that’s called Amanda’s Video  you’ll see a 4 mins 45secs video that was shot during the Launch Day on 30th November - it gives a real feel for all that’s going on indoors at the Play Centre.

The Play Centre is usually open from 10:00am to 6:00pm every day but if you check out the Amanda’s Play Centre  website you’ll see the Holiday opening times, repeated below for your convenience:
