What Celebrities say about Amanda?
Jenny Halpern Prince
Jenny Halpern Prince (pictured right) is the founder & MD of Halpern, a leading consumer PR agency. In addition to heading up Halpern, Jenny dedicates considerable personal time and energy to selected charities - for example she sits on the Corporate Board of Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).
After booking Amanda Frolich recently for her twin’s birthday party – Jenny said of Amanda:
“What I love about Amanda is that all the children adore her and she is not cheesy. She’s the best entertainer in town.”
Jenny also thanked Amanda for the very kind offer of doing some work with Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Amanda Holden
Britain's Got Talent judge and actress Amanda Holden says: “It was phenomenal – the party of the year! I wanted something different, fun and really active for my 4 year old’s birthday party and Amanda’s Action Club delivered big time! Amanda’s energy is incredible. The music felt fresh though there were plenty of recognisable classic kiddie’s tunes. The children loved the props, toys and musical instruments that we all used during the activities.Everyone joined in - the mums and dads even got moving too! The food was out of this world – the caterer that Amanda provided was unbelievable – it was really special.” ( pictured, above, during that party are Amanda Frolich and Emma Boundy in their Amanda's Action Kids uniforms posing either side of Amanda Holden).
Below is an extract of what Amanda Holden said about the Amanda party in a long interview with Lorraine Thurlow in New Magazine (Issue 357 dated: 15 March 2010) about her professional and personal life:
"We had a massive party (for Lexi's birthday) for all her friends at nursery. It was a princesses and pirates party and I hired the most amazing children's entertainer. I was hands-on, serving all the food and shaking my maracas, but it was nice to have somebody entertaining the kids while I plied the parents with champagne. I think that's the only way forward for children's parties [laughs] - children's entertainers and champagne."

Saira Khan
Saira Khan, former star of the first series of BBC2's reality business show The Apprentice, says: “I wanted Zac to have a memorable First Birthday, so that when he was a little bit older he could see that he'd had a great day!! There was no doubt in my mind that I would have Amanda to entertain the children.
Zac goes to Amanda's music classes and he absolutely loves her and her music. Zac has older nephews and nieces aged between 4 and 8 so Amanda had to cater for a wide age group. On the day, she was just amazing. She was there 30 mins before the party started preparing all her props. She welcomed all the children warmly and even managed to get the shy ones up and dancing very quickly. Amanda was very interactive with children and gave them an opportunity to sing and dance and play musical games, even the parents got up to dance!!!
Even though Zac was teething on the day he was smiling, laughing and joining in. The older children said, "it's the best party they had ever been to." Amanda made my life so easy. All I did on the day was take photos of my son dancing, clapping and smiling.
I will hire Amanda again and would recommend her to anyone who wants a memorable birthday for their child which is fun for all the family. Amanda is a star and she makes children feel special and confident. You will be assured of a good night sleep after Amanda has finished with your child!!”
Martin Offiah
Ginny and Martin Offiah ( former rugby league great) say: “We booked Amanda for Tyler's 2nd birthday party after he became hooked on her CD. The children were entralled with Amanda's unique energy and the party was a roaring success. Tyler now attends Amanda's classes and they are great friends! For us, there is no better children's entertainer.”
Mark Durden-Smith
“My children will only groove to Amanda's Action Kids. If they grow up to be Pan's People, we will have only Amanda to thank. It's fab!”
Catherine Tate
Comedian and actor Catherine Tate and her husband Twig Clarke asked Amanda to host a birthday party for their four year old daughter and were impressed by how much energy Amanda brought to the proceedings.
“She was amazing. There were 25 three and four year olds and Amanda was great, really energetic. There was loads of stuff going on - bags and bags of toys for the children to play with and constant music including some really funky nursery rhymes. In fact, we could go into the other room and close the door if we wanted to. The children just followed her around and she even had them tidying up afterwards. They had so much fun. Amanda was recommended to us by friends and we would certainly recommend her to friends - in fact, we already have.”
Sarah Beeny
Sarah Beeny, presenter of popular television show Property Ladder, asked Amanda's Action Kids to entertain 20 toddlers for her little boy's birthday party. Sarah, who has two boys aged one and three, said: "Amanda was the first entertainer we've had and we thought she was fab. She was full of life and really bubbly. They were mostly boys and a tough bunch of kids but she kept them under control the whole time and was really enthusiastic."
Louise Isted
Mother-of-three Louise Isted (Victoria Beckham's sister) - is a big fan of Amanda’s Action Kids and has turned to Amanda to entertain at all three of her children’s birthday parties. “What I especially like about Amanda is her energy and imagination. Her parties are brilliant for both children and parents,” she said. “Amanda entertains for the whole time she is there and the parents don’t have to do anything. I’ve had other entertainers for my children’s parties and you just cannot compare. Most of them are the same and the children get bored after 10 minutes. But Amanda’s parties keep going for hours.”
It was Louise's superstar sister who invited Amanda to host the Beckhams’ 2006 World Cup party for a group of disabled children. Louise explains: “The party was in my sister’s garden at her home in Hertfordshire and she asked Amanda to entertain the children. It was a huge success so both myself and my family will continue to ask her to entertain in the future.” Louise has three young children – Liberty, eight, Tallulah, five, and two-year-old Finn – so, with all those birthday parties, she needs a children’s entertainer she can rely on. I will definitely use her again – and so will many of the other parents who have seen her in action.”
Alison Wheeler
The former Beautiful South lead singer attends Amanda's Action Kids classes with her daughter Ava - and both appear in the '1,2,3,4,5' video.
1. On Amanda's Action Kids classes: "Initially you look for classes to occupy the baby's day - or at least that was my initial thought. However, having taken several different classes, I can honestly say Amanda's classes are the most entertaining. Ava adores Amanda and her classes. She gives 110% of herself to every class, even when the classes are often back to back.Amanda is energetic, fun and loud - which babies love. Her mix of traditional nursery songs with a modern twist make the classes fun and funky, and at the same time stop mums going gradually insane with what can sometimes be twee original tunes. Amanda is a firm believer in a strong beat motivating the children and my daughter's reaction to Amanda's class is definite confirmation of that. I will always have a soft preferential spot for Amanda's class. She challenges traditional stereotypes for music classes and their teachers. She also encourages mothers to stop and think of the educational and developmental benefits of different elements in her class. I am 100% behind her message of tackling the growing problem of sedentary obese children. But once you attend Amanda's class you'll understand there is no potential for that problem to surface here. She has the kids and mothers bouncing around. So it's not just exercise and developmental education for the kids, it's also a challenge for the mums to keep up too! I wish Amanda all the best with her venture as she goes global. She deserves true recognition for all the hard work she has put in and for all the enjoyment she nurtures."
2. On taking part in the '1,2,3,4,5' video shoot with Ava: "Ava and I enjoyed being a part of the video shoot. It could be seen as quite a challenge to turn a traditional children's rhyme into a modern video with a pop twist, but the track carries itself. Its strong beat ensured nobody on set could keep their feet still - not that Amanda would allow any of us to sit still! The colours should really stand out in the final cut as all the children made a fantastic effort to dress in bright clothes which helps continue the carnival feel to the video shoot. I can't wait to see the video with the choreographed moves added. I'm sure it will look amazing!"
3. On Amanda's message that keeping children active can play a key part in tackling the growing problem of child obesity: "I am 100% behind Amanda and her message to parents that they should keep their children active. We need to revisit how children learn to play - I think a lot of a child's development can be nurtured. Amanda wants to encourage children to enjoy the music and express this through movement. It all contributes to a healthier happier child. Activities like Amanda's classes are the ideal complement to a balanced diet which hand in hand could help tackle a child's potential for obesity. Amanda's message is 'Food for the soul'! And a final word... All the best Amanda. You deserve every bit of success I know will follow. Here's to all the years you have put into your classes and here's wishing you global success." All our love, Alison and Ava
Dee Pinsent
Olympic Gold medallist and British rowing legend Matthew Pinsent and his wife Dee Pinsent take their twins, Jonas and Lucas, to Amanda's classes. "With young children it's often about getting through blocks of time and this is a wonderful way to get through the morning. What's great about it is she really welcomes children of all ages. My boys are a little bit young for these classes, but I can come on my own with the twins and she's always lending me a hand. She's got so much energy and she's so creative. I prefer this to other types of classes because usually the children don't get to move around a lot. Amanda’s classes are 45 minutes of activity and when it is time to go home the children are completely worn out."
